great natural beauty is an added bonus. In his 45 years of playing golf, the author has seen enormous changes to the structure and business of golf, and, in particular, to the industry of golf tourism. He has, therefore, taken the opportunity to include resort courses

the Caribbean, South America, South Africa,

Thailand and - most recently - China.

作者简介：

Geoffrey Giles has played golf since the early 1960s. His business travels have taken him all over the world, and he has never missed an opportunity to take his golf clubs with him. In all he has played well over 1,000 courses, including many of the world's greatest. One of his chief joys is coming across 'hidden gems'. those lesser courses that will never host a significant tournament yet are full of charm and distinction.
